Tofu Bowl
Ingredients
- Tofu (extra firm)
- Jasmine rice
- Edamame
- Avocado
- Red cabbage
- Carrot
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Ginger (fresh)
- Garlic
- Sesame seeds
- Spring onion
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the VGTeam tofu into cubes, coat in a marinade of soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger and garlic. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Step
Cook rice according to the instructions on its package then blanch the edamame in boiling water for 3-4 minutes.
Step
Fry the marinated tofu in a pan for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown crust forms on all sides.
Step
Grate carrots into thin strips, chop cabbage finely, and slice avocado.
Step
Place the cooked rice in a bowl, add the toasted tofu, edamame and all the chopped vegetables. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
